How Can I Roster My Class for QuantHub in Schoology?

Modified on Mon, Mar 2 at 10:23 AM

Auto Roster your students

1. In this tutorial, we will show you how to quickly roster your class into QuantHub. First, navigate to the desired course.

2. Select "Add Materials"

3. Select the "QuantHub Upskill" or "QuantHub" app button in the apps section.

4. Select "Roster" within the popup.

5. You only sync your Schoology class once, so make sure you are selecting the correct option.

  1. SUGGESTED: Create the class in QuantHub and then find the class in the menu below and click "Connect and Roster"
  2. If you have not created the class in QuantHub click "Add and Roster".

                  * ENSURE YOU FOLLOW THE NEXT STEPS TO MAKE CLASS VISIBLE.

Once this is complete, all of your students will be put in a class section. You only need to do this once per class to create the section. Doing this will automatically sync the students' emails and pre-existing QuantHub accounts. As we continue, the roster can be found within the QuantHub platform, and you can add, delete, and sync additional students there.

***For Class-linked sections, only the students from the "parent" class will be rostered. You must have the rest of the remaining students join via join code. See instructions near the end of the tutorial for clarifications. Contact support@quanthub.com for help if needed***

Edit the "Add and Roster" class

6. If you selected "Add and Roster" your class will generate in QuantHub, but not be visible to students until you edit the settings. To do this go to "upskill.quanthub.com" and select "Classes/Sections."

7. Select the drop down menu and select "All sections."

8. Find the class you synced in Schoology. Select "Details."

9. Replace information as needed. Make sure you put a period, session, and select the most accurate learning path.

Class-Linked Sections

10. Select "Classes" and select "Details" for the class with multiple sections.

11. Select "Join Code"

12. Copy the join code.

13. Go back to desired course with multiple sections: Select "Updates."

14. Select here and paste join codes and invite students to join.

Tip: We hope that this helps you get your classes rostered in QuantHub quickly. If you need any additional help rostering classes, syncing Schoology, or adding and removing students "Submit a Ticket" by visiting https://quanthub.freshdesk.com/support/home
