What are the technical requirements for K12 implementation?

If you are a technical support person for your school or district, read about the technical requirements for implementing QuantHub.

QuantHub Technical Information

QuantHub is a software-as-a-service application completely available via the internet, with a relatively lightweight footprint from an IT standpoint. Below are a few IT considerations relevant to providing the best learner experience with QuantHub.

District Firewall / Whitelisting

Please whitelist upskill.quanthub.com and quanthub.com. This will allow for students and teachers to have access to everything in the Upskill Platform. QuantHub often points to third-party resources to illustrate applications of data and AI or provide supplemental instructional resources. Please request the most current list of URLs to whitelist from support@quanthub.com.

We also recommend whitelisting the email address support@quanthub.com as well as the domain quanthub.com. Our dedicated IP is 149.72.217.226. QuantHub will send transactional emails from that address for the purpose of account administration, user setup, password administration, and usage reporting.

Browser Support

QuantHub is browser agnostic and offers support for all popular browsers, including the following:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

QuantHub is best supported on Chrome, however, due to features such as deep linking, which will help the students best navigate our internal resources.

Mobile Support

QuantHub is a responsive web application providing an exceptional user experience on both mobile and desktop. We do not currently offer an app; however, the website responds to screen size regardless of size to provide a consistent and optimized experience for all users.

Single Sign-On

QuantHub is certified through Schoology in an effort to make the process of students and teachers logging on to use it as seamless as possible. QuantHub also supports SAML-based single sign-on (SSO). In order to configure SSO, QuantHub will need the entity ID URI, the SSO login URL, SLO logout URL, and then an x509 certificate for validation.
