How do I send a skill analysis?

If you are an Upskill admin or proctor (manager or teacher) you have access to our powerful Skill Analysis tool!

Locate the Skill Analysis tool from your drop-down menu in the top right by hovering over your avatar. 

While creating your skill analysis, you have two options: 

1. Send out the skill analysis immediately after its creation by selecting "Yes, email invitations with a link."

2. "No, generate an invitation code to share later."

If you select the first option, after the creation of the skill analysis, recipients will receive an invitation to take the skill analysis immediately.

I don't want to send the skill analysis immediately

1. If you would like to wait to send the skill analysis, you can return back to the "Skill analyses" tab from the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.

2. Once there, you will see a complete list of all the skill analyses your organization has created. Select the one you want to send out.

3. You will see a list of recipients for the skill analysis. There are two options of sending it out.

i. You can provide the link to redeem the invitation code to participants 

You will want to provide recipients with the URL and their invitation code. 

ii. You also have the option to send the skill analysis via the grey airplane icon. This will send an identical email to the recipient prompting them to begin the assessment.

When recipients visit this link and enter the invitation code and their email, they will receive a confirmation message stating that they have been sent an email invitation to take the test.

If they select an invitation from an email, they will be able to immediately begin their assessment without email confirmation. 

Please make sure to enter the recipient's email in the skill analysis so that they can successfully redeem the invitation. This step is necessary for them to be able to access the assessment.
